Western Union(ウエスタン・ユニオン）（英語：The Western Union Company)

ウエスタン・ユニオンとは、アメリカに本拠地を置き、世界約200ヵ国・地域に約50万の取扱店を持つグローバルな送金サービスです。（個人送金や企業向け・貿易関連の業務など幅広く展開しています）

日本国内の取扱店窓口にて、現金で簡単に海外送金を行うことができ、世界200ヵ国以上・50万ヵ所以上のネットワークを通じて、現地での送金・受取りが可能です。

日本国内の取扱店からは、1回につき100万円までの送金に対応しています。お手続き完了後、最短で数十分後には海外でお受取りいただけます。

Western Union is a global money transfer service headquartered in the United States, with a network of approximately 500,000 locations across roughly 200 countries and regions worldwide. (They offer a wide range of services, including personal remittances, corporate transfers, and trade-related business support.)

At our domestic agency counters in Japan, you can easily send money overseas in cash. Through a global network spanning over 200 countries and regions and more than 500,000 locations, funds can be sent and received locally.

We support remittances of up to 1 million yen per transaction from domestic locations in Japan. Once the procedure is completed, the recipient can collect the funds overseas in as little as a few tens of minutes.

送金・受け取りに必要なもの

お手続きには「政府発行の有効な写真付き本人確認書類」の中からいずれか1点、およびマイナンバーカードが必要です。

• 運転免許証
• 在留カード
• パスポート
• マイナンバーカード（※日本に定住されている方は必須となります）

【スムーズにお手続きいただくためのお願い】

日本人および日本に定住されている方は、マイナンバーのご提示が必須となります。

その際、「運転免許証（または在留カード）」と「マイナンバーカード」の2点を合わせてご提示いただけますと、よりスムーズにお手続きが可能です。【日本国籍の場合・外国籍居住者の場合】

【Required Documents for Remittances and Receipts】

Please present one of the following government-issued photo ID documents, along with your MyNumber card.

• Driver’s License

• Residence Card

• Passport

• MyNumber Card (Mandatory for residents of Japan)

【To Ensure a Smooth Transaction】

For Japanese citizens and residents of Japan, providing your MyNumber is mandatory.

To make your experience smoother, we kindly ask that you present both your “Driver’s License (or Residence Card)” and your “MyNumber card” together. We appreciate your cooperation.

【日本国籍の場合】

・マイナンバーカード（お持ちでなければ、通知カード・住民票でも可）➡※こちらは必須ですので忘れずに持参して下さい。

・運転免許証（最も短時間で終了しますので、お持ちであればご提示下さい。無ければ顔写真入りのマイナンバーカード1枚でも可。）

※これらの提示は、ウエスタンユニオンの指示により行っておりますので、ご納得頂けない方はお断りいたします。

【外国籍居住者の場合】

・在留カード

・マイナンバーカード（通知カード・住民票でも可）

※日本に定住されている方は、マイナンバーのご提示が必須となります

・Residence card

マイナンバーカードをお持ちでない方は、マイナンバーが記載された6か月以内の住民票で代用可能です。

また、外国籍居住者の方は、運転免許証ではなく在留カードが必要となります。

どの身分証明書も期限が切れていると使えませんので、気をつけてください。

If you do not have a My Number Card, you can substitute it with a resident card within 6 months with your My Number listed.

Also, foreign residents need a residence card instead of a driver’s license.

Please note that any ID card cannot be used if it has expired.

送金・受け取りの流れ

当店でのウエスタン・ユニオンのお手続きは、「個室」にて対応させていただいております。

そのため、ご来店いただきましたら、まずは店頭スタッフの指示に従い、順番が来るまで店内の待合スペースにてお待ちください。

順番になりましたら、スタッフが個室へご案内いたします。

【Procedures for Western Union Services】

At our shop, Western Union transactions are conducted in a private room to ensure your privacy.

Upon arrival, please follow the instructions of our staff and wait in the designated waiting area until it is your turn. We will call you in order and escort you to the private room. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

送金方法の流れ

送金依頼書に必要事項を記入

本人確認書類のご提示と、送金依頼書（個室にご案内後お渡しします）にご記入をして頂きます。ウエスタン・ユニオンをご利用の際に、毎回本人確認書類のコピーを取らせて頂きます。

名前には、英語表記で記入をお願いします。ファーストネームとミドルネームが逆になってしまったり、スペルを間違えると受け取れなくなりますので、間違えないように予めご確認下さい。

You will be asked to present your ID and fill out a remittance request form (which will be handed to you after being escorted to the private room).

Please note that a copy of your identification is required every time you use Western Union.

When filling out your name, please use the English spelling (alphabet). If your first and middle names are reversed or if there is a spelling mistake, the recipient will not be able to collect the funds, so please double-check carefully beforehand.

送金相手の電話番号

以前は、送金相手の電話番号は求められていませんでしたが、システム上求められることになりましたので、あらかじめ電話番号を聞いておいてください。

Previously, the recipient’s phone number was not required, but due to system updates, it is now mandatory.

Please make sure to ask for and check the recipient’s phone number in advance.

送金に必要な資金のお支払い

取扱店にて、ご希望の送金金額と、金額に応じた送金手数料をお支払い頂きます。

At the counter, you will pay the desired remittance amount along with the corresponding transfer fee.

受領書を受け取る

送金依頼書に誤りがないか確認の上、署名して頂き、お客様控えを受け取って頂きます。

その控えには、送金管理番号（MTCN）番号がありますので受取の方へお伝えして下さい。

受取の方はこのMTCN番号を使用してオンラインで送金情報を確認する事ができます。

After confirming that there are no errors on the remittance request form, please sign it and collect your customer copy.

This receipt includes the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

Please share this MTCN number with the recipient.

The recipient will need this number to check the transfer status online.

送金管理番号（MTCN番号）とは

MTCN番号で、送金人の氏名・送金金額などの情報が分かります。

The MTCN is a unique tracking number that contains information such as the sender’s name and the remittance amount.

※送金の際、受取相手の名前のスペルミスや、ファーストネームとファミリーネームの取り違え、さらには居住都市や、電話番号が分からないといった事がありますので事前確認をお願いします。

受取りの流れ

 

受取り依頼書に必要事項を記入

本人確認書類のご提示と、受取り依頼書（個室にご案内後お渡しします）にご記入をして頂きます。ウエスタン・ユニオンをご利用の際に、毎回本人確認書類のコピーを取らせて頂きます。

その際MTCN番号、送金人の名前、送金国、送金された金額といった送金情報を記入して頂きますので分かるように準備して来て下さい。

受取金額と受領書の確認

受領書に誤りがないか確認の上、署名して頂き金額を受け取って頂きます。

Receiving Amount and Receipt】
After confirming that there are no errors on the receipt, please sign it and receive your funds.

せっかくご来店頂いても当店の定休日だったり、金額によってはすぐご用意出来なかったりといったこともございますので、出来ましたら事前にご連絡頂ければ幸いです。

※下記の情報が不明であればお取引不可となりますので、事前に確認の上ご来店下さい。

• 送金した方の氏名
• 送金金額
• 送金管理番号（MTCN番号）
• 本人確認書類（公的機関が発行する顔写真付きのもの）

Even if you visit our store, we may be closed (such as our regular holidays), or we might not be able to prepare the funds immediately depending on the amount.

Therefore, we would greatly appreciate it if you could contact us in advance.

Please note that if any of the following information is missing, the transaction cannot be processed. Please verify these details before visiting our store.

• Sender’s full name

• Remittance amount

• Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN)

• Valid photo ID issued by a public institution

詐欺に注意して下さい

金銭に関する事ですので、○○詐欺という疑いのある事案もあるかも知れません。

海外への送金なので、例えば「ロマンス詐欺」「結婚詐欺」などの交際をにおわせるような場合は注意が必要です。

Western Union(ウエスタン・ユニオン）は、友人やご家族様のみにご利用下さい。

実際に会ったことのない他人には決して送金しないで下さい。

お客様が送金すると、送金相手はすぐにお金を受け取れます。お金が支払われた後では、たとえお客様が詐欺の被害にあっていたとしても、Western Union(ウエスタン・ユニオン）はお客様に払い戻しをすることはできません。

【Beware of Scams】

Since this involves money, there is a possibility of fraudulent schemes, such as romance scams or marriage scams, which often involve overseas remittances.Please be extremely careful.

Western Union should only be used for transactions with friends and family members.

Never send money to strangers you have never met in person.

Once you send money, the recipient can collect it immediately.

After the funds have been paid out, Western Union cannot provide a refund, even if you realize you have fallen victim to a scam.

ご利用の際の注意点

ウエスタン・ユニオンのサービス内容は、取扱店によって多少異なります。

当店では、以下のサービスのみを取り扱っております。

• 対象は個人間のみ： 個人間の海外送金・受取りのみ対応しております。法人利用や口座への直接送金・受取りは承ることができません。

• すべて現金でのお取引： 電子マネー等による決済は不可となっております。必ず現金をご用意ください。

• WEB・アプリ取引の継続不可： お客様ご自身でウエスタン・ユニオンのアプリやWEBサイトからお手続きを開始された場合、その続きを当店で処理することはできません。必ず窓口にて最初からお手続きください。

【Important Notes for Using Western Union Services】

Service availability may vary depending on the specific Western Union location. At our branch, we provide the following services:

• Personal Remittances Only: We only facilitate personal transfers. Please note that we cannot process business transactions or direct transfers to bank accounts.
• Cash Transactions Only: All transactions must be made in cash. We do not accept electronic money.
• In-Store Procedures Required: If you have already started a transaction via the Western Union app or website, we cannot continue or complete that process at our counter. Please visit our branch to start your transaction from the beginning.

サービス対応時間

当店の営業時間は10:00～18:00となっておりますが、最終受付時間は17:30となっております。

※上記営業時間内であっても余裕をもって処理を完了できるよう、お早めのご来店をお願いしております

また、質屋かんてい局会津若松店は毎週火曜日・水曜日が定休日です。誠に恐れ入りますが、システム上の理由により、営業時間外の受付はいたしかねます。

あらかじめご了承くださいますようお願い申し上げます。

Our business hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and the final reception time is 5:30 PM.

To ensure that your transaction can be completed securely within business hours, we kindly ask that you arrive with plenty of time to spare.

Please also note that Shichiya Kanteikyoku Aizuwakamatsu is closed every Tuesday and Wednesday.

Due to system requirements, we are unable to process transactions outside of these business hours.
